Strength for Moms is a prenatal & postpartum strength and fitness program. Mama’s who have participated in the past have seen reduction in diastasis recti, improvement in back pain, increased strength, improvement in posture, improvement in shoulder & neck pain and increased confidence in moving their bodies during the prenatal & postpartum chapters.
It’s such a challenge to find a fitness class that is appropriate for pregnancy and post partum, but still challenging. I enjoyed this class for a number of reasons. I found this class provided me with the challenge and strength conditioning I wanted, while also addressing pelvic floor health, something that was very important to me during my pregnancy. The low impact style was easy on my changing joints and ligaments, but still left me feeling strong and accomplished at the end of class. Finally, being able to bring my toddler along allowed me the best access to the class, and gave her an opportunity to interact and play with other kids. I look forward to continuing with this class in the post partum period.
